Welcome to Ahyayah Ceramics
I’m Rachelle and I build, paint, glaze and fire everything myself, from home. I guess you could say I have a ‘nook’ **very messy table/corner** in my home where the magic happens.
This project grew from when I made my first bowl in COVID lockdown with my mum 2 years ago and I got SO much joy from seeing the beginning to end process. Now, I do this in my spare time (as much ‘spare’ time as working, studying and being a wife and mum allows).
I see beauty in flaws and that’s why none of my pieces are perfectly smooth or without imperfections.
